Dr Fazilawati’s areas of interest include cataracts among adults and children, squint, nasolacrimal duct obstruction and retinopathy of prematurity. In 2006, she was awarded the Excellent Service Award by Malaysia’s Ministry of Health, as well as the Achievement Award by Malaysian Society of Ophthalmology in 2018.
